Statues, in our cities, tend to be slightly pumpous.
I know it's not easy to deride bronze or stone and yet, when I meet one of them in the course of my urban strolls, I enjoy giving them an eyewink.
So, when it's not seagulls or pigeons using them as perches (and even a little more), I like to bring them down a peg or two, playing with angles which sometimes reveal an ambiguous relationship to their environment.
Then, coming face to face with them in the intimacy of my lab, I offer them an aura through a solarisation which aims to restore their lost dignity.
